From Panjim or Mapusa you can get a bus to any part of Goa by traveling just a few kilometers. In addition to private companies there are some state-run services connecting major towns in Goa. Most private buses charge higher fares than public services but are more comfortable and faster than local buses; all of them include air conditioning (very rare among Indian transport) and video entertainment screens.

At Candolim-Baga area, one can see several attractions such as Kishkinta Water Park, Panaji City Museum, Mapusa Market or Anjuna Flea Market; all of them are located within one kilometer distance from each other. It is also very near to Anjuna Beach. This place is quiet famous for its beaches and backpackers’ hangout places such as hotels like Residency Hotel.
